My CompuHigh Experience

Going to CompuHigh online school was probably the best thing I've ever done. Going to public high school isn't easy, especially when you can be reserved at times. There are so many kids and there is so much stuff going on when you're on campus. It's even more difficult when you're confidence is on the low side. ;) Public high school is full of different clicks. You have the jocks, the nerds, the popular girls, the skaters, the druggies, the goths, the punks, etc... Then you have the kids who are in between. I was one of those kids. I didn't really have a place. I had a different childhood than the popular kids or the jocks. I grew up doing my own thing. So naturally when I was at school, I did my own thing too. I wasn't exactly a loner, I just didn't fit in. My grades started slipping, so I decided to check out on-line schools. My mom found CompuHigh School online and she enrolled me into their program. The thing is...when you want something in life, you have to go for it with all you got. That's what CompuHigh taught me. CompuHigh requires focus and discipline. Those were two things that I lacked. But slowly, I started to focus on my school work and I didn't let anything distract me. I was going for what I wanted: a high school diploma. And I got it too. My Whitmore School diploma that's sitting on my book shelf has given me the confidence to do anything that I want to. CompuHigh is a very educational school. The program allows you to work at your own pace in the comfort of your own home. The CompuHigh system is set up as a library of work. Some courses have lessons 1-20, while others have lessons 1-15 (or ten), and some courses even have lessons 1-30. While nothing worth having in life is easy, if you stay disciplined and focus, you can earn your diploma. And looking back at all the work you've done, it will give you confidence and you will believe that you're smart. The teachers at Compuhigh are very cool. I especially enjoyed working with my Psychology teacher, Stan, and my Anatomy teacher, Pam. I would definitely reccommend that you take those two classes. All of the staff at Compuhigh are very awesome. They work with you, answer your questions and they encourage you. The system itself is easy to work with. You have what's called a "student desk" with a whole bunch of courses. You open a course up, pick which semester you want, open the lesson up, do the work, submit it and then you wait for a reply. It's very simple. I'm glad that I'm finished with high school, but if I could do it all over again, I might have worked for an even higher diploma than what I got. ;) But now as a high school graduate, I'm about to shoot for the stars as a college student. But that's all because of the confidence and belief that Compuhigh has given me. Click here to read or post comments.
