Online degrees graduate school - why would anyone want to sign up?

Why online degrees graduate school offers you a great way to find a different career

Online schools offer a great way to find a different direction. I have personally changed my career at least 3 times in the last 10 years and of course each career needed a completely different set of skills. I started life as a biologist, and then I moved onto becoming an educational resource publisher and then onto becoming a primary teacher - but still I don't feel that 'this is the final choice'...

At every change, I obviously changed my career skills. If you want to change your career, but still work in your current post until finding the next new jump, studying online with an online degrees graduate school seems to be an excellent career decision. I especially like the part where you can earn while you learn.

The especially nice thing about online degrees are people wanting to complete masters degrees programs online - this is where professionals take time and enhance their key skills or become specialists. I have found that there are so many different online master degrees out there, that you are completely spoilt for choice.

What makes this site so special is that I have collected them into a single website. I have found you can earn a lot more money when you have graduated with an online degree.

If it is so great to get an online degree, why doesn't everyone do one?

There are lots of reasons that you need to think hard about what you are wanting from a degree before you sign up for the course?

  • Do you have money?:
  • Online degrees or online master degrees don't come cheap - if they do - you need to be very suspicious of them! You still can expect to spend around $15,000 to get a degree - you need to hence be certain you really want to complete the degree or walk away now.

  • Are you intelligent enough?: You should apply for an online degree if you would have been accepted by a traditional degree, and it is just distance or time stopping you. Lots of online schools will give anyone a chance to try - but beware an online degree is no easier to get than a traditional one - anyone who tells you differently is less than truthful.
  • Do you have time?: This is another stumbling block for many - if you are working full time, with full family commitments, you may find there is no time left in the day to complete a degree and give it the full attention it requires.
  • Is it accredited? : This is another problem of online schools - you really do need to do your homework and not only research if your online degrees graduate school is legitimate and the final online masters degree program will be accepted by the authorities.
I would highly recommend this as a route for anyone who lives far from an educational centre of excellence - and is keen to develop his or her skills. I know my father gained a great deal from learning online, and I often had conversations about his latest maths discoveries and only later would learn about how my half sister and brother were doing.

If you do find a really great online graduate degrees school - please leave a review of your school and course, so anyone following you can learn from your experiences.
