I have also seen home schools recommend giving out home made high school diplomas – again I am personally sceptical of their value – anyone can make a certificate – but not everyone can get one from somewhere where colleges, employers and state advisors would recognise it. I have read sad stories of where people have even gone onto college and got amazing university degree scores, only to not find a job as they had no recognised high school diploma.
