Why would we be offering an Online Teaching jobs page?It all started very recently. I was contacted by a woman who was suffering from cancer and could not leave the house to work, but wanted to have a career as an online teacher. "Where would one start to look for such a job?" and I decided that as this is a place where lots of people are now looking for information online schools and online teaching vacancies, it made perfect sense to add this service.
I would now like to invite people looking for a position to submit their information for schools and others to read. I would highly recommend that a teacher creates a new email account, such as from Yahoo or Google, to prevent them being spammed and to give out as little personal contact information as possible, to make sure their details are well protected.
If you upload your CV, it will remain on the server until you decide to remove it again or ask me to remove it. Likewise any jobs with schools would also remain until a school as contacted me to remove their advert again for them.
The plan is for this all to be free for anyone to use.
A few suggestions however - please could only qualified teachers place their details on this part of the site.
If you do happen to use one of the listed online teachers - be it in a school, in a home school, or as a private online tutor, could you please take the time to write a comment about how you found their professional work and if you would recommend them to others. Please also contact us to let us know what you think of this online vacancies page and if it it is useful to you.
