Where would a teacher or parent find a great online educational game? The first is one of my personal favourites - BBC School Games . It has a wide range of different games for different age groups and covers the main subjects. While you are on this site, it is also well worth taking the time to thoroughly explore the school section of this website, as there is far more than you would expect. It is all written by the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) and so obviously the games are high quality and very educational. While you are on the school section, check out the Bitesize sections, as these help to prepare your student for different exams, and contain both activities and tests for everything a child needs to know in Maths, Science or English. Where can I find a free online pre school game? If you want to find a free online pre school game the Children’s BBC on the site (CBeebies) – you will find school games online that are perfect for a younger pre school audience and lets them learn with their favourite television characters such as Bob the Builder. Where can I find online English, Maths and Science revision games? The third website I would highly recommend you visit is Woodland Junior School . Literacy, Maths and Science have been made into different zones or parts of the website – and these are broken further down into their different parts. It has collected all the different school games online and presented them in a single – easy to use website. When my class has a few moments, I always send them to this site, as then I am sure they are learning and not playing any violent games in some foreign language that I don’t understand. As I said, there are many other online school games – and many of the sites are reliable. However many are very spammy and filled with viruses and other unpleasant programs – which is why I tend to steer clear of them – especially as most schools virus software is often not regularly updated, and so the computers are not protected as well as they could be.
