Zoom School - an online education for only $20 a year?Zoom School is an online elementary school classroom with lessons in geography, biology, language arts, and early childhood activities. The Zoom School site is packed with high quality, top resources for you to share with you little one. I used this site all the time while I was teaching in the UK. The resources are simple and easy to use, and very child friendly. The thing I loved about this school was the fact that no one ever took the role of being teacher away from the person teaching the class or child. The reason this virtual elementary school is so reasonably priced is the fact that it does not need to employ any teachers of its own, or any large buildings to place the children in. The nice thing about this site it that it lets you sample a lot of the materials for free, so you can try them out on your child before needing pay. When you do pay, the adverts vanish and so you can print out anything on the site, without being reminded to pay. The only query I would have is if this could be considered a real 'online elementary school'? I would say it is not, as it does need parental input - but then again - at this price - who can complain?
